Fun bar w/ nice HH. Rum shots all sounded sweet. I tried one that had Jager. Food sounds good but we had already eaten. The beer I had was enjoyable. Service was welcoming & friendly.

I love tropical drinks so this had to be one of the spots we stopped at on our bar hopping adventure in Austin. The drinks were delicious, strong and fruity and pretty as well with the nice tiki cups. The prices weren't bad being around 13 to 15 dollars per drink. I went on a Sunday night and it wasn't crowded at all. The decor was pretty and the vibe was nice, It would have been even nicer if they played beach style music but they placed mostly hip hop and rap while I was there. The service was quick and fast and friendly. I'll definitely be back again.

Lily and Ryan were on the day shift. The bar was empty on a Saturday afternoon. They have a decent rum selection, nothing too fancy. The drinks were well made by Lily and she was very friendly.

On dirty 6th. Tropical themed bar with fruity cocktails. They do have a small kitchen with food items. Some games in the back. Came in for happy hour. They had 1/2 off Beers. $5 shots and frozen drinks.

Dropped in for a few drinks. Strike against me, this was on an early Monday night. Drinks were cheap, at least compared to what I pay in LA. A group member got a whiskey sour and we were amazed at the heavy pour. The Dark and Stormy was nice and pretty, but I was enthralled by the Charlie Foxtrot. My pics don't do it justice with the burning cinnamon stick fizzling out. Wifey had a painkiller that was good, just a bit too much cinnamon on top. Still, the service was good and the bartenders were doing their best as they seemed to be short on staff. As the night wore on people crawling in and the DJ started up. I'm a bit too old for that scene, so it was time to head out.

Stumbled upon this place during Pecan Street fest as we'd never seen/been to it before and it looked like a fun addition to 6th street. They have a pretty large selection of tropical/tiki drinks, some standard bar fare but also a bunch of "tropical" / mock-Hawaiian dishes like Poke and Mac salad (classic). The poke was noticeably defrosted fish but it was all fairly well seasoned and tasted good overall so we got past it, especially since the drinks were pretty good and it was a lively place. The music was *quite loud* unnecessarily and it would have been nicer if it were a bit more on par with the energy level during the mid afternoon but ok; it's a nice place, service was good, and we liked it so hopefully we'll remember to go back when we're back on 6th.

Wow! I'm staying just off 6th st and was trying to find a quick spot to eat something on the run and passed this on the way to voodoo. I thought it was just a dive bar but it has a food menu that's affordable, and the customer service was awesome! I plan on coming back every day of this trip the macaroni salad was very good, the dressing on the salad was interesting and I ended up really liking it. The customer service stood out more than anything, it was a rare treat and really made my day just going in for a quick lunch after a long flight. I recommend coming in and at least trying something!
